Lyric Music Theater has been entertaining Southern Maine audiences for almost 70 years. We produce the best of Broadway from beloved classics to the latest new musicals. We delight our audiences with innovative productions and in doing so, provide opportunities for the incredibly talented local theater artists to perform and create. We are also a member of our South Portland community and are proud to bring sign language interpreted and sensory-friendly theater performances to those for whom theater would otherwise not be possible. Lyric is also investing in the next generation with opportunities for area youth to perform and create as a part of our Children’s Workshop series.
Accessibility
Our lobby is at ground level and we have a lift for handicapped patrons to comfortably enter our auditorium. We also offer assisted listening devices to the hearing-impaired.
Parking
For the convenience of our patrons, we have a generous amount of parking available in a parking lot across from the theater, including two handicapped spaces close to the entrance
